Thank You for Reading Midlife Moments

I keep wondering if I’ll get tired of writing the blog and move on to something else. If so, that day awaits in the future. My blogging platform, WordPress, compiles statistics every year so that I can see my reach.

This year, I had 37,000 views in 130 countries. I’m reading a book right now called Human Renaissance by Clare McCord. In it she makes the point that we are in a time of Renaissance, a time of pushing boundaries in our knowledge and exploration of ourselves and the world around us. She says that technology helps the middle class, the invisible person, the average mind, to express themselves and rise into public consciousness. This blog gives me a place to express my tiny perspective. Thank you for reading.

In 2015, my hope is to engage you more. I hope that it will become more of a conversation as I hunger to hear more from you and build community. Watch for changes as I learn more, and please know that I value your support and readership more than you know.

See below for my stats. We created this!

Here’s an excerpt:

The concert hall at the Sydney Opera House holds 2,700 people. This blog was viewed about 37,000 times in 2014. If it were a concert at Sydney Opera House, it would take about 14 sold-out performances for that many people to see it.

  2. That’s amazing!! For what its worth…..I think you’ll get even more responses now that you’re back on fb. (I know, I know….it’s a love/hate thing!)

  3. Thank you so much for continuing to write, Sharon! I look forward to hearing what you have to say, and you give me much to think about as well as reassurance that I’m not the only one dealing with what it means to be a fifty-something woman in this crazy day and age. All the best for a prosperous 2015!

Talk to me, please...
